Between the Pages

There’s something magical about walking into a bookshop. Rows of stories waiting to be discovered. Lives, losses, adventures and possibilities quietly held between pages. The chance to be transported somewhere else entirely, or to unexpectedly find yourself reflected back in words you didn’t realise you needed.
Some books arrive at exactly the right moment. Others stay with us because they help us make sense of something difficult to name.
Counselling can feel a little like that too. A space where your story can be told in full, without skipping over the difficult chapters. A place to lay things out honestly, to notice the experiences that have shaped you, and to reflect on where you are now.
Sometimes that means returning to pages you’ve avoided revisiting. Sometimes it means recognising that life has changed in ways you didn’t expect. And sometimes it’s about slowly beginning to imagine what the next chapter could look like.
Our stories are rarely neat or straightforward. There are chapters of grief, uncertainty, reinvention, loneliness, hope, and unexpected turning points. Parts we revisit often. Parts we wish had unfolded differently. Parts we are still trying to understand.
But every page matters.
And it’s never too late for the story to change.
